Resident Evil: Retribution (2012), built through an electronic hybrid lens.
Opening in the white room with creeping sinister electronics and slow, deliberate tribal drums, the cue builds a tension that feels both ancient and clinical. As the scene breaks into the rain-soaked streets, the music fractures — driving percussion, distorted hybrid hits and aggressive sound design collide, layering granular swells, guttural low-end surges and razor-edged textures to capture the cold, visceral chaos of the walker attack..
Hybrid orchestral and electronic rescore of “Life” (2017)
This is my take on the climactic final confrontation between Dr. David Jordan (Jake Gyllenhaal) and Calvin, the rapidly-evolved extraterrestrial organism. I wanted to emphasise and build the inevitability of this moment through heavy sound design and dark electronic textures layered with orchestral elements.

For over two decades,
I've explored the electronic music landscape, evolving through various creative phases. Today, my work focuses on rich sound design that bridges electronic music with cinematic composition.
In my earlier career as Jason Grey, I developed a distinctive hybrid style blending techno, progressive house, and trance. This became the foundation for my independent label, Crossing Over Records, which has championed both established artists and emerging talent alongside my own releases.
Now I'm pursuing my passion for film, TV, and media scoring, applying my electronic background to create immersive soundscapes that enhance visual storytelling. By combining electronic elements with traditional instrumentation, I craft unique sonic experiences that captivate audiences. I'm constantly refining my approach, aiming to make a meaningful contribution to film and media music.
